The main processing unit communicates with a number of expansion boards which
are part of the same sensing platform.
These include:
- GPS receiver;
- Sensors' LED board; used to display the sensor readings in scale(1-10)
- Robostix; provides analoge to digital conversion, a number of serial
ports and IO pins.
- Sensor board; contains a number of sensors and is accessed only
through the robostix board.
- USB host(VDIP); is used to write data to a flash disk
